Mrs. Vicky, I, would like to start off by saying "Thank You" for all your help. My daughter Tierra is 6 yrs old and she's mentally challenged. She also has ADHD which makes her very, very hyper and sometimes uncontrollable. All she ever talked to me about was getting her a puppy. "I thought to myself is Tierra capable of taking care of a puppy". Well let me tell you, the drive all the way to Mrs Vicky's house she was excited and anxious to meet her "brother" as she call him. Tierra fell in love with Mister the moment she layed eyes upon him. Mrs Vicky taught Tierra how to hold the puppy, she also taught Tierra how to whisper in his ear and he will give you a kiss. She still does that daily. Tierra also had some challenges with sleeping in her bed alone. From that day we brought Mister home she has been able to sleep in her own bed with the comfort of Mister at the foot of the bed.  This has been the best gift yet that I've come across in the last 6 yrs and I owe it all to Mrs Vicky.  Tierra, has also calmed down at school since she got the puppy. He's her motivation to do better in class so that she could come home and play with him! So if there is anyone out there that has doubts about children with mental challenges and disabilities and puppies I advise you to reach out to Mrs Vicky. She's an Angel!
